Africans Are Creative !!
This is common with in African women who live in rural villages. Its mostly done during cultural ceremonies like marriages and sometimes during this season of Christmas. This is what Africans used to enjoy before the introduction of Western decoration. Many of them still decorate their huts this way.
Visiting Zambia in the eighties and other African surrounding countries, this creative style was common before technology came in.
