History Traces raw eating of meat in Ethiopia back to the 16th Century.

In Ethiopia Kitfo is a very delicious delicacy and traditional dish that consists of minced raw beef, marinated in a powdered hot chili mixed with spices (Mitmita) or (Awaze), a kind of chilli paste, then the meat will be wrapped in Injera and Eaten, accompanied by wine, beer or soda.
